I picked up a pastry bag for the very first time when my son Paulo turned one year old. Birthdays and small occasions were my focus until a trusting cousin insisted that for her wedding, only my cake would do! It was both a nerve-wracking and exhilarating experience.
Ten years on, I'm still making a sweet, happy mess in the kitchen. Whether it is a cupcake or a towering tiered cake, every project is an opportunity to stretch my imagination and skills. I feel so honored and priviledged to be part of planning your life's celebrations.
